Top 5 Hottest Gadgets of 2013

The Consumer Electronics Show is where you will find new and exciting gadgets that are heading the market. Here you will find many of the most unique devices that are one of a kind and are more advanced among others. Five of the hottest gadgets that can be found in CES 2013 are listed below.

The first of them is the Pebble smart watch which can be synchronize with your iPhone or android phone.  This watch is an E-Paper watch which uses technologies like Bluetooth and accelerometers to act as a wrist mounted extension of your phone, as well as being a very cool customizable watch. The device is waterproof and is intended to be as tough as possible. The needed device app is compatible with Android 2.3.3 and iOS 5 or later and once you installed it then the app will allow over the air installation of elements. It also works as an extension of your phone screen so when someone texted, called or even emailed you on your phone the watch displays the information on the screen which also allows you to respond directly from your wrist.

 

Another latest gadget that will blow your mind is the new Kingston HyperX 1TB pen drive. As small as it is,  Kingston was able to put a 1 terabyte memory to a small pen drive device for consumer use. Kingston also set it as the fastest flash USB drive in the Kingston family by giving it a 240MB/s read and 160 MB/s write capacity. The DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 USB drive may be a little bit bigger in its family but it will not matter as long as you know that you got a massive storage device in your pocket. Yet due to its massive storage size, this device will cost you about $3,400 in US alone. Yeah, seems like too farfetched for an ordinary consumer to buy one so let’s say that Kingston is currently concentrating at the business user.

The third most amazing gadget is the Sony Xperia Z phablet which is 7.9mm thick and 5-inch body height. Weighing up to 146 grams with a Full HD 1080p Reality Display screen and armed with Mobile Bravia Engine 2. It is run by the Android Jelly Bean, packed with the latest 1.5 GHz asynchronous quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB RAM. It also has a 13 megapixel fast-capture camera, $G LTE, NFC, and a 2400mAh battery that can give you nine days of battery life when aided with new software from Sony. On top of it all, the device is waterproof which enables you to use it even under water.

The fourth one is the new Pentax MX-1 which was designed to bring past to memory with regards to its look and feel. The top and bottom covering is composed of brass that is designed to last against scratches. The buttons are also perfectly placed with your finger which enables you to take control of the device easily. The three inch screen is tilt able which gives you the flexibility to compose angle shots with ease and contains about 920 thousand dots making it one among the sharper screen camera you can find. The 26-112mm lens offers an excellent aperture range of about f/1.8 at wide angles and f/2.5 at far end. All of these specifications resulted to a compact camera weighing 391g with a loaded battery and an SD card.

Finally we got the Lenovo ThinkPad Helix which is a tablet/laptop hybrid that is run by windows 8 operating system. The ThinkPad Helix has four basic functions. First, it functions as a high performance Ultrabook, then a Tablet composed with Core i7 processor and up to 256GB SSD, to a mini-movie theatre or for business presentation central and lastly a tablet with the base fold back for added ports and connectivity. This device can stand up to 10 hours of work and play usage without stopping. It also contains 11.6-inch high definition 1080p IPS display screen that maximizes clear, crisp, and vibrant visual environment.

So with these new devices available on the market, it might be tempting just to get at least one of these for your own use.
