When it comes to romance, some cities simply make it more conducive for couples to fall in love all over again. Big or small, these cities are famous not only for their architecture, breathtaking scenery, interesting culture and delicious food, but also for evoking images of love and romance. While there are several cities in the world that are just as beautiful, these are certainly the ones that always come to mind when it comes to exuding charm, intimacy and romance. Whether you are planning a honeymoon trip, thinking of the perfect place to propose or are planning the trip of a lifetime, consider these locales if you’re looking for a bit of l’amore! Here are the 10 most romantic cities in the world.

10. Prague, the Czech Republic

 

With its splendid castles and cobblestone streets, the beautiful city of Prague serves as the perfect backdrop for romance. It is a city rich with culture, history and many breathtaking sights. Couples can take a walk along the River Vltava while gazing upon the splendor of the historic castle or choose to go on a cable car ride up to the Petrin Gardens, where lovers can get lost in the mirror maze. Its cobblestone streets, the astronomical clock that is over six centuries old and the charming Old Town Square make Prague a perfect destination for couples who want to get lost in a place fit for fairytales.
