Barcelona in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League

Barcelona in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League

Barcelona is in the quarter finals after what could be considered a football show rather than a match. Barcelona played their best and saw positive results: the team beat Milan 4-0. The first two goals were scored in the 5th and 39th minute by Lionel Messi, who opened the scoring to bring back hope to Barcelona, who needed to win the match by a difference of three goals to avoid getting eliminated from the Champions League.
During the second half, David Villa scored the third goal, while Jordi Alba made the result a definite one in the very last minutes of the match: Barcelona is now in the quarter finals.
Barcelona players understood each other perfectly and worked as a team to ensure such a great result. Milan lacked the order they had shown when playing Barcelona at home in February and could not cope with Barcelona’s best game.
The draw for the next round of the Champions League will be made on the 15th of March, so fans all over the world have to wait until then to find out who Barcelona is playing next. The next game will be in the first days of April.
